She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudie Coates and Millie Ann Coates (Kinser); and her husband Willie Minton. She is survived by: her daughter Linda McDonald (Bruce); her granddaughters, Wendi Clark (Brian) and Crystal Raney; her great grandchildren, Jarrett Clark (Taylor), Brookelyn Borders (Nolan), Madison Raney (Micah) and Mason Raney; her great great grandchildren, Waylon, Willow, Easton, Luke and Lainey; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Minton and Corean Minton; and her dear neighbors, Chuck and Bev Compton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, dear friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in Frances honor to the Nortons Cancer Institute.
