Onwell V. Strange Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Onwell V. Strange of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 24, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Strange and Thelma Strange; his brothers, Elvin Strange, Jr. and Wandell; and his grandson Shawn.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy De Cano, Jeff Strange (Cathy) and Holly Shelton (David); his wife Edna Mae Alvey; his daughters, Donna Warren and Pam Thornton (James); his sister Vena Gail Kelly (Joe); Marjorie Maggard.
He spoke many times of that day when Bro. Ray preached of faith, hope and charity, these three, but the greatest of these is charity. His text was, "Sinners, do you want that charity?".
