It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Jackson Jr. of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Jackson, (Drake) and Samuel Jackson, Sr.; his daughters, Bonnie Jackson and Janet Franklin; and his siblings, Dorothy Dishon, Stanley Jackson and Annabelle Weird.
He is survived by: his wife Jerrie Jackson (Bishop); his children, Sherrie Martin (John), Robin Jackson, Donna Jackson and Stacy Calvert (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brandon Cain, Patrick Martin (Ashley), Jennifer Franklin, Jackie Thoms (Aaron), Samantha Franklin, Tod Mertz, Kristin Timberlake, Blake Calvert and Cameron Calvert (Ally); and his sister Goldie Lanham. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
