We bid farewell to Sharon Lee Goldsmith of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 28, 2025 at the age of 82. Sharon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Garry Goldsmith, Sr.; her parents, Ida Mae and Melvin Oliver; her siblings, Judy Klinglesmith and Sonny Oliver; her grandchildren, Rick Gaskin and April Lax; and her son-in-law Ricky Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Bruins (John), Denise Nelson, Tammy Koenig (Carl), Kim Mattingly and Garry Goldsmith, Jr. (Sharon); and her sister Marilyn Smith. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Schmid Funeral Home (9500 Hwy 44 E, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
