He is survived by: his children, J. D. Adams (Desiree) of Ladylake, Florida, Cynthia Beteice Tiffany (Albert) of Bristol and Loren Nichole Adams of Sitka, Kentucky; and his siblings, Philip Adams (Rissa) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Janice Blevins (Hershell) of Staffordsville and Ann Powers of Paintsville, Kentucky. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
