He is survived by: his sons, Gillis Burns Jr. (Tiffany), Eric Bowling (Pam) and Anthony Wayne Bowling; and his siblings, Arnold Burns, Leon Burns, Jean Stutler, Mollie Bowling and Beulah Lee. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
