Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sherman leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pope Stewart and Mildred Childers Stewart; and his siblings, Louise Bruce and George "Buddy" Stewart. He is survived by: his sister Gracie Brooksher of Russellville, KY; and his close friends, Beverly Gentry and Jean Cooper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cawood Riverside Church of God (3911 S Hwy 3001, Cawood, KY 40815). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
