With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marc Wayne Richey of Smithfield, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marc left this world on September 1, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Marc may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marc touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Eugene and Margie Louise Weir Richey; and his sister Gayle Virginia Gouge. He is survived by: his wife Kristie Conn Richey; his children, Amanda-Grace Schultz (Matthew), Rebecca-Faith Richey and Nathaniel Benjamin Richey (Rebecca); his brother Dr. Michael Louis Richey; and his brother-in-law Dr. Steven Fielding Gouge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
