He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Tandy and Sherley Arington (Taylor); his wives, Suzanna "Sue" Arington (Payton) and Delores Shuck; and his daughter Jayola Arington.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Arington of Smithfield, Sandy Doane of Eminence, Pat Stivers (Darcy) of Campbellsburg, Gary Arington (Emily) of Turners Station and Kim Jewell (Jimmy) of Smithfield; his sister Mary Joyce Kephart of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Chesilynne Woods (Vincent), Jesirial Jones (Ashley), Matthew Doane (Kate), Geremy Arington (Brandi), Austin Arington (Heather), Meredith Chisholm (Dack), Heather New (Jeff), Scott Papineau (Sydney), Carrie Duncan (Paul), Michele Harmon (Bobby), Rebecca Doane, Belinda Ohlmann (Kyle), Katy Doane and William Casey Doane. He is also survived by Several Great-Grandchildren, Several nieces & nephews.
