She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Elzie and Lola Alice Powell Burke; and her sister Kaye Frances Franklin. She is survived by: her children, Kurt Jones (Janet) of Knoxville, TN, Shannon Hill (Jennifer) of Bowling Green and Gena Borders (Derrick) of Bowling Green; and her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Nicholas, Garrett, Sarah, Mallory, Camden and Savannah. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel (832 Broadway Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
