With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carolyn Saltsman of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on April 22, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Carolyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of our hearts. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her mother Clara Wood Day; and her brother Dr. Charles Day. She is survived by : her father Delmar Day; her husband Roscoe Saltsman; her daughter Andrea Ransdell (Troy); and her granddaughter Lennon Ransdell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smiths Grove Cemetery (270 Beeler Ave, Smiths Grove, KY 42171).

In lieu of flowers, it was Carolyn's wish that contributions be made to The Smiths Grove Baptist Church General Fund.
