Joyce Richards Cureton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Richards Cureton of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Ernest Richards and Grace Webb Richards; her husbands, Ronnie Hudson and Jack L. Cureton; and her siblings, Bennie Earl Richards, Howard Richards, Faye Woodcock and Gloria Gaye McDougle.
She is survived by: her children, Kanina Bullard (Tony) of Columbus, IN and David Hudson (Wendy) of Smiths Grove; her grandchildren, Sondra Bullard, Whitney Sanders (Alex), Austin Bullard, Crystal Bullard, Jenni Bullard, Kaisey Layne Hester and Harlie Holman (Colten); her great grandchildren, Emersyn Hester, James River Holman, Lainey Grace Holman and Michael Alan Bullard; her siblings, Roy Richards (Peggy) and Linda Russell; and her cousin Joyce. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel (504 Washington St, Brownsville, KY 42210). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel - Arrangements (504 Washington St, Brownsville, KY 42210).
