He was predeceased by: his children, Randall Smith and Jan Davis; his parents, Oliver Smith and Mamie Smith (King); and his grandsons, Randy Ray and Marvin Hollis, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Alma Smith of Smiths Grove, KY; and his children, Donna (Chris Owens), Kay (Earnest Hollis-King), Sharon Estes of Smiths Grove, KY, Beth Smith of Fountain Run, KY, Eddie (Vickie Ray), William (Darlene Ray), Brad (Mandy Ray) and Billy (Angel Smith). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great-great-grandchildren.
