He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Baird and Jewell Hatcher Baird; his wife Margaret Elizabeth Elkins Baird; his brother Harvey Hale Baird; and his grandson Matthew Dale Baird.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Cramer (Roger) of Cumming, GA and William Baird (Bill) of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Baird Mayhall (Jonathan), Wes Cramer (Dana), Spencer Cramer (Jenna) and Hannah Cramer Long (Nick). He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
