She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Parsley and Nora Price Parsley; her husband James Owens; her siblings, Samuel Parsley, Frank Parsley, Ralph Parsley, Irene Hines, Lorene Rogers and Louise Jennings; her great grandchild Nina Buster; and her sons-in-law, Carroll Colyer and Mark Lemmon.

She is survived by: her children, Leroy Owens of Nancy, James E. Owens (Theresa) of Somerset, Patty Buster of Somerset, Brenda Whitaker (Allen) of Somerset and Clara Owens (Dennis Dalton) of Nancy; her grandchildren, J. J. Owens (Alisha), Dustin Owens (Kristen), Harley Smith, Jaime Owens (Trevor Johnson), Cory Lemmon, Danielle Whitaker, Nina Owens (John Jennings), Keilahn Owens, Tonya Baird (Jeremy) and Chris Colyer (Jalessa); her great grandchildren, Allie Sears, Aubree Sears, Christian Smith, Owen Rowe, Whitley Smith, Jaylin Owens, Hailee Owens, Peyson Owens, Emery Jane Owens, Shayla Owens, Jahven Smith, Mckenzie Smith, Aiden Stephens, Zayden Stephens, Finn Baird, John David Baird and Allie-Elise Baird; and her sisters, Clara Hatcher (Gene) of London, KY and Reda Neou (Dennis Montgomery) of Louisville.
