She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Johnson and Hattie Flynn Neely; her grandmother Ollie Flynn; her former husband Willard Jones; her husband Robert Achterfeld; and her siblings, Franklin Neeley, Arthur Johnson, Nellie Mae Neeley and Bessie Neal.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Achterfeld (Barb) of Melbourn, FL, Bobbie Jones (Dawn) of Raymond, MT and Roberta Achterfeld of Somerset, KY; her grandchildren, Danielle Achterfeld, Nicole Carey and Eric Achterfeld; her great grandchild Emily Carey; her brothers, Eddie Dean Johnson and Ted Johnson; her half-siblings, Eugene Johnson, Myrtle Lee Storie and Jean McGuffey; her close friend Diane Watkins; her niece Tammy Dixon; and her great-nieces, Chelsey Dixon and Lindsey Dixon. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Liberty Cemetery.
