With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Shirley Lay of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Kemper and Shirley Ashman Evans. She is survived by: her husband Larry Moore Lay; her children, Sheryl Shoemaker (Neal) of Somerset and Larry Travis Lay (Ren) of Louisville; her brother Chester Stringer (Karoline) of Bronston; her grandchildren, Britani Shoemaker, Brooke Begley (Jordan), Bree Shoemaker (Israel) and Brye Lay; and her great grandchildren, Quaneisha Shoemaker, A. C. Prater, Jalil McBride, Nola Begley, Graham Begley, Eden Begley and Forrest Begley.
