He was predeceased by: his father Billy Joe Keeney. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Keeney; his mother Shirley Ann Jackson Keeney; his children, Gary Douglas Gibson II of Louisville and Ginger Renee Gibson Shelley (Matt) of Ferguson; his sister Teena Beshears (Kenny) of Somerset; and his sibling's children, Bart Beshears (Amanda), Tony Beshears (Heather) and Emily Haste (Darin).
