She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Brinson and Fannie Glover McGowan; her siblings, Carriel VanHook, Alta Tomlinson, Bernadean Walker, Geathel McGowan and Alfreda Stevenson; and her son-in-law Paul Strange.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Ping; her daughters, Debra Chaney (James) of Shopville and Sherry Strange of Ferguson; her grandchildren, Ashley Gholson (Nick), Jesse Taylor (Kari), Eric Taylor and Casey Taylor (Brittney); and her sister Karen Heath. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; along with special friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carolyn Ping Memorial Fund.
