She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Estell and Parlee Massengale Perdue; her husband Sam W. Simpson; and her siblings, Gene Perdue, Darrell Perdue, Lucille Guffey, Uldean Choate, Sandy Dixon, Joan Smith and Peggy Guffey.
She is survived by: her sons, Jarrod Simpson (Angela) of Somerset, Matthew Simpson of Richmond and Nick Simpson (Stacey) of Somerset; her sisters, Phyllis Winchester of New Castle, IN and Lela Chesney of Greenfield, IN; her brother-in-law Charles Simpson; her grandchildren, Ally Hobbs, Jacey Gafford, Gavin Simpson, Rylan Simpson, Jude Simpson and Noah Simpson; and her close friends, Sue Owens, Pam Coomer, JoAnn Wilson, Francis Meece and Betty Resor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews that were like siblings.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
