He is survived by: his wife Tina Cook; his children, Leroy Cook (Sandra) and Mary Poynter (Bub); his grandchildren, Amber Lewis (Josh), Rose Foster (Richard), Courtney Cook and Christina Krueger; and his great grandchildren, Mason Baker, Kayleigh Lewis, Isabella Foster, Adam Murphy, Shelby Napier and Austin Napier.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Pine Thicket Cemetery.
