He is survived by: his wife Laura Sadler Lester; his daughters, Lorrenda Merritt (Shawn) of Somerset and Ladanna Glidden of Somerset; his grandchildren, Xzavier Glidden and Laurel Merritt; and his siblings-in-law, Cira Thomas (John) of Somerset, Patricia Daulton (Tim) of Nancy, David Sadler (Pauline) of Elizabethton, TN., Eugene Sadler of Tennessee, Thomas Sadler of Monticello and Timothy Sadler of Monticello.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the New Life Church Building Fund.
