With sadness, we share the passing of Danny Culbert Melton of Somerset, Kentucky. Danny, born on February 2, 1946, passed away on June 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Melton and Vida Farmer Melton; his son Timmy Melton; his granddaughter Alicia Melton; and his sisters, Margie Cole and Bernice Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Sharp Melton; his sons, Jody Melton (Angel) of Somerset and Michael Melton (Regina) of Somerset; his stepchildren, Mark Smith of Nancy, KY and Marie Haste (Casey) of Russell Springs, KY; his grandchildren, Patrick Melton (Sarah), Moriah Melton, Lucy Brown (Matt) and Michael Melton, Jr. (MacKayla); his stepgrandsons, Cody Smith and Tyler Smith (Allison); his great grandchildren, Bella Melton, Macy Brown, Ella Brown, Matilyn Brown, Brixton Melton and Kaliber Melton; his stepgreat-granddaughter Kaile Solgot; and his brother Donnie Melton. He is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Danny Melton Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses.
