It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Dykes of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Debra Dykes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merkel and Lucille Wilson (Inabnitt); her stepmother Ruth Ping Wilson; her siblings, Jim Wilson (Elizabeth), Bobby Wilson and Marjorie Wilson Floyd (Pete Floyd); and her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Shadoan and Claude Acton.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Dykes; her son Seth Dykes (Valerie) of Campbellsville; her siblings, David Wilson (Debbie) of Somerset, Brent Wilson of Somerset, Sharon Wilson Parkey (Sherman) of Somerset, Sue Shadoan of Somerset and Janie Acton of Somerset; and her grandsons, Colton Dykes and Landon Dykes. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to the Gideons International or the Silvers Cemetery Fund.
