She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Burton and Mildred Terry Burton; her sister Betty Hill (Lee); her great-niece Connie Michelle Duncan; and her stepgrandchildren, Timothy Cooper and Kimberly Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Cooper, Jr.; her son Earl Lee Calhoun, Jr.; her sister Ora May Black; her grandchildren, Jonathan Calhoun, Timothy Calhoun and Jesse Calhoun; her stepchildren, James Cooper (Ethel), Robert Cooper, Delmer Cooper (Peggy), Wendell Cooper (Lisa), Lonnie Cooper and Wanda Walters (Paul); Carter Lee Duncan. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
