Doris Elaine Coates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Elaine Coates (Somerset, Kentucky), who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Lemon and Laura Lemon; her husband Don Coates; and her brothers, Delmar Lemon and Dale Lemon.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Fletcher (late Larry); her grandsons, Shawn Fletcher (Josephine) and Shane Fletcher; her sister Donna Lemon; and her friends, Ronnie and Mary Cantrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southern Oaks Cemetery (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503).
