It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Purcell of Somerset, Kentucky, born in Manchester, Kentucky, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jack Sizemore; her husband Leonard "Wilford" Purcell; and her siblings, Earl Sizemore, Farmer Sizemore and Gladys Sizemore.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Allen Purcell of Somerset and Valerie Lynn Purcell of Somerset; her grandchildren, Nathan Michael Purcell, Jiselle Lynn Purcell and Tarah Jiselle Muntz (Clay); her great grandchildren, Elijah Clay Muntz, Ella Kate Muntz, Emery Grace Muntz and Everally Muntz; and her siblings, James Sizemore (Ethel) of Clay Co, Lewis Sizemore (Jan) of Clay Co, Vestie Ruth (Roy) of Clay Co, Lucy Burton (Booney) of Stanford and Helen Dick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
