The passing of Eva Mae Davis of Somerset, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 96. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Flem Hicks and Mary Catron Hicks; her husband Willis Nile Davis; and her siblings, Alonzo, Robert, Odell, Willard, Bradley, Junior and Lola Hicks Kingston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dena Bertram (late Jerry Bertram) of Somerset and Donna Marcum (John) of Stanford, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Tammie Aaron (Anthony), Jerry Wayne Bertram, Sherri Eakin (Jonathan) and Pamela Gooch (Bill); her son Jerry Shepherd (Anne) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Jenifer Houck (Jason) and Susanna Smith (Adam). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
