Finley H. Girdler Obituary
The memory of Finley H. Girdler of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Girdler and Lorene Godby Girdler; his close friend Linda Marlene Sweet; his daughter Dorene Wise; his sisters, Lou Parsons and Bonnie Beulah Irwin; and his brother-in-law Clarence King.
He is survived by: his children, David Girdler of Science Hill, Bruce Brown of Somerset and Amanda (Kevin Hansford) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Connie Shabert of Somerset, Crystal Allen of Florida, Clark Kidwell, Michael Hansford and Devon Girdler; and his great grandchild Allen Wise.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Co (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the West Cemetery (511 W Columbia St, Somerset, KY 42501).
