He was predeceased by: his father James Frank; his wife Gilberta Bullock Cornett; his siblings, Ray, Dillard, Goodlow, Gene Cornett, Ruth Williams, Edna Jones, Mary Piccirillo and Margaret Hart; his grandchildren, Jason Garner, Rachel Casada, Stephanie Roach and Cody Meece; and his great grandchild Jasie Calhoun.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Cornett (Betty), Tina Meece (Leonard Matherly), Tammy Fisher (David) and Teresa Cornett; and his grandchildren, Makesha Meece, Frankia Colyer (Marty), April Cornett, Janie Cornett, Jimmy Cornett, Cassandra Cornett, Tabitha Richardson, Melia Meece and Jonathan Farmer (Rachel). He is also survived by Twenty-Two great grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
