Gary Lee Carter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Carter of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on December 21, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garriest Carter and Josephine Watson (Webb); and his brother William "Bill" Carter. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Carter; his children, Amy Carter, Deonna Carter and Dana Sluder; his siblings, Terry Morgan, Sammy Morgan, Eric Cunnigan, Sharon Marsicano (Jim), Karen Wheeler (Stewart) and Rhonda Wilson (Steve); and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Eversole, Makayla Eversole, Jonathon Eversole, Erin Sowders (Jordan), Bryan Robinson, Nikki Whitaker (Bobby), Amber Carter, Jamie Sluder, Ashley Sluder and Brittany Sluder. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Jean Waddle Care Center for their care of Mr. Carter during his stay and request that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
