He is survived by: his wife Linda Brown Carter; his children, Jimmy Carter (Dianna), Jerry Carter (Tamara), Marlana Dick (Samuel) and John Carter (Theresa); his grandchildren, Samantha Gides (Patrick), Christie Massey (Justin), Jordan Carter (Krista), Amanda Conner (Alex), Jaci Phelps (Logan), Dakota Carter (Aleasha), Cora Jones (Matt) and Savannah Dick; and his siblings, Kenneth Carter (Norma) of Northern Kentucky and Clarice Reece (Harold Frey) of Illinois. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
