She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe "Toss" Harris and Edna Bullock Harris; her husband James Garner Massey; and her siblings, Hollis, Delvin, Maurice Harris, Wilda Eaton and Connie Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, James Douglas Massey and Jennifer Lynn Massey; her grandchildren, Melissa Jones (Joseph), Megan Norris (Joshua), Trenton Massey and Haley (Zack Smiley); and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Sadie Jones, Caraline, Levi, Andrew Norris, Alexis, Asher and Aaron Smiley.
