He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman E. Dalton and Joyce Dalton Carter; his stepson Scott "Anthony" Ham; and his brother-in-law John W. Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Haynes Dalton; his children, Ashley Dalton Parrish (Scott) of Westfield, IN, Kimberly Michelle Brumley of Somerset and Stephen Lee Dalton of Somerset; his stepson Steven "Andrew" Ham (Ashley) of Moncks Corner, SC; his grandchildren, Skylen Brumley, Keaton Brumley, Lyric Brumley, Addison Parrish, Tripp Ham and Aspen Dalton; his siblings, Edward A. Dalton (Christy) and Linda G. Dalton Edwards (R. C. Emerson) of Somerset; his nephew Tyler Dalton of Atlanta, GA; and his close friend Harold Barlow (Kathy).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to American Legion Post # 38 Honor Guard in memory of Gregory Dalton.
