He is survived by: his wife Joyce Carter (Routin); his stepchildren, Linda Edwards, Greg Dalton and Eddie Dalton; his children, Roger Carter of Bardstown, Randy Carter of Louisville and Judy Carter of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Schrea, Rachelle, Shayla, Sydney, Cheryl and Christopher. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
