He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. VanHook and Vena Phelps VanHook; and his siblings, Russell Phelps, Robert, Lonnie VanHook, Dorothy Phelps, Ruby Hill and Bonnie Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Lacey VanHook; his son Troy VanHook; his grandsons, Eric VanHook and Zachery Burdine; his great grandchildren, Levi of Loveland and Olivia VanHook of Loveland; and his sister Phyllis White of Somerset, KY.. He is also survived by relatives, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Goodwater Cemetery.
