It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Johnson of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Johnson to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Jane Prather (Posey) and Gary Dewayne Johnson; and his grandparents, Arthur and Esma Prather. He is survived by: his wife Robin Johnson; his stepchildren, Nicole Cook Holly (Ross) and Vincent Parsley (Alea); his parents-in-law, Nawatha Garrison and Al Garrison; his siblings, Carl Posey and Kim Weddle; his uncle John Robert; his aunt Margaret Silvers; and his grandchildren, Oliver, Parker, Rock, Quinton, Chloe Cook and Percy Parsley.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Mill Springs National Cemetery (9044 KY-80, Nancy, KY 42544).
