James Ralph Silvers Jr. Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of James Ralph Silvers Jr. of Somerset, Kentucky is shared. James Ralph, born on August 9, 1948, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ralph Silvers, Sr. and Pauline Lynch Silvers; and his siblings, Dillard Silvers and Judy Silvers. He is survived by: his wife Devona Couch Silvers; his children, James Bryce Silvers (Kellie) of Cincinnati, OH, Nikki Chapa of Harrodsburg, Stephanie Larsen (Doug) of Somerset, Dion Couch of Miami, FL and Derek Couch of Bronston; and his siblings, Michael Silvers of Bronston, Etta Phelps of Whitley City and Jeanne Acton of Somerset. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
