He is survived by: his wife Rita Wilburn Holliday; his sons, Chris Holliday (April) of Shelbyville, Indiana, Jeff Holliday (Tonya) of Pendleton, Indiana and Kent Holliday (Rachel) of New Palestine, Indiana; his stepchildren, Pete Lux of Davenport, Iowa, Rachel Holliday (Kent) of New Palestine, Indiana and Renee Emerson (Darryl, Jr.) of Trafalgar, Indiana; his daughter Macie Lay of Somerset, Kentucky; and his siblings, Jack Holliday, John Holliday and Joyce Holliday. He is also survived by several grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
