We bid farewell to Joan Frances Spurlock of Somerset, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Joan Frances touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Randall and Amanda Frances Davis Maggard; her brother Gordon Graham (Chris) of Mt. Vernon; her niece Ginger Graham; her friend Janie Blakemore; and her nephew-in-law Kenny Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Hiestand of Somerset, Liz Spurlock of Lawrenceburg and Randy Spurlock of Somerset; her grandson Jereme Hiestand (Danielle) of Frankfort; her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Jackson; and her sibling's children, Sherry Robinson of Mt. Vernon, Richard Graham (Connie) of Mt. Vernon, Kaliesa Hunt (Brad) of Mt. Vernon, Coby Robinson, Kristy Isaacs (Troy) of Berea, Jason Hunt of Ashland, Ryan Graham (Cassie) and Lauren Gray (Lance) of Lexington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, friends.
In accordance with Joan's final wishes, she requests no Flowers be sent, but rather consider financial contributions to one or more of the following charities; St. Jude Children's Hospital, USATF Foundation, Paralyzed Veterans Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Elmwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky or the Somerset High School Athletic Department Fund.
