John Willis Hansford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Willis Hansford of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Willis leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Noble Hansford and Cloa Dell Sears Hansford; his sister Verna Christine Chumbley (Leonard); and his nephews, Mike Chumbley and Jimmy Chumbley.
He is survived by: his significant other Rheagenia Maxine Cain; and his niece Alice Jackson (J. R.). He is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pulaski County FFA Alumni (Scholarship Program) in memory of J.W. Hansford.
