It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josie Prows of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burton and Lula Burton (McCutchen); her husband Clarence Prows; her daughter Phyllis Prows; and her siblings, Bobby Burton, Junior Burton, Loren Burton, Grace Poynter, Pearly Miller and Hattie Skaggs.
She is survived by: her daughter Pat Prows; her grandson Robert Fulcher (Jodena); and her great grandchild Emily Fulcher.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US-27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
