She was predeceased by: her parents, Laford Lawson and Carrie Lawson (Rains); her daughter-in-law Tonya Prats Cox; her granddaughter Jessica Minton; and her sister Betty Jo Smith (Don).
She is survived by: her husband Bert Cox; her children, B. David Cox, Michael Cox (Karen), Debra Manning (Burney) and Glenn Cox (Suzy); her brother Sam Lawson (Patsy); her grandchildren, Becky Turner (Bart), Alyson Yates (Danny), Phillip Cox and Rebecca Wilson (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Olivia Turner, Brody Turner, Avery Yates, Annabelle Wilson, Alayna Wilson and Ayden Wilson.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Main Chapel (165 KY-2227, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
