It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Dalton-Carter of Somerset, Kentucky, born in Waynesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Acton Routin and Stella Walls Routin; the father of her children Herman Dalton; her husband Harold Carter; and her son-in-law John Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Dalton (Christy) of Bluffton, SC, Greg Dalton (Sherry) of Somerset and Linda Dalton Edwards of Ferguson; her grandchildren, Ashley Parrish (Scott), Kimberly Dalton, Stephen Dalton, Tyler Dalton and Jimmy Prather (Amber); her great grandchildren, Addison Parrish, Keaton Brumley, Lyric Brumley, Aspen White, Lily Prather and Conner Prather; and her brother Jim Routin (Shirley) of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
