He is survived by: his parents, Nick Murphy and Rita Murphy; his wife Hollie; his daughter Morgan Parrott (Nick); his grandson Liam; his son Stephen Murphy; and his siblings, Denise Sullivan (Bill), Kathy Murphy, Sharon Weiss (Pat), Mark Murphy (Shaylee) and Dan Murphy (Mary Beth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Token 3 Club in Louisville.
