He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Parrett and Sadie Barnes Parrett; his sisters, Verla Clifford (Jack) and Doris Cash (Bill); his brother-in-law Waylon Neese; his nephew Roger Clifford; and his niece Cindy Cash.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ellen Stubblefield Parrett; his daughters, Sandy Colyer (Martin) and Kenda Lefler (Jeff); his grandchildren, Logan Rice, Jessica Meece (Cole), Brandon Colyer, Kenny Colyer and Lauren Rice; his great grandchildren, Arlo, Amos and Ansel Meece; and his sisters, Eddie Neese and Teresa Parrett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
