In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Kent had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Kent may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Thomas and Marion Wilson Thomas; and his brothers, Art Thomas and Wayne Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Thomas; his sons, Mathew A. Saylor (Amanda) of Somerset and Marshal O. Thomas; his cousin Art "Butch" Wilson (Sherry); and his grandchildren, Aiden P. Thomas, Nevaeh Saylor, Baley Gretzner and Dakota Saylor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
