He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cooper and Pearl Cooper (Dickerson); his wife Florence Cooper (Golf); and his siblings, James Lee Cooper, Joyce Cooper Morgan and Margaret Cooper Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Garry Cooper, Linda Blevins (Joseph) and Ruth Ellis; his brother Donald Lewis Cooper (Catherine); his grandchildren, Travis Cotton, Nathan Cotton, Tarra Cotton, Hanna Blevins Britt (Daniel), Sarah Blevins Hearn (Mark) and Jordan Blevins; his nephews, Wayne Morgan and Harrison Wells; and his niece Ronda Cooper. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
