She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Howard Tees and Lillian Mildred Jasper; her husband Everett Lee Whitis; her son David Lee Whitis; and her grandson Michael Scott Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Dolores Phoenix O'Donnell, Terri Whitis Chaney (Brad), Tammy Whitis Thompson (Jeff), Angela Whitis Weston (Jim) and Gary Whitis; and her sister Ferrell (Gene). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.
