He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Burgin, Sr. and Audrey Parsons Burgin; his wife Doris Cobb Burgin; and his siblings, Lawrence Eugene Burgin, Edith Jones, Fern Hall, Joyce LaFavers, Geraldine Steele and Roberta Ann Bischoff.
He is survived by: his children, James Allen Burgin (Lisa) of Somerset, David Burgin (Denise) of Somerset and Teresa Sewell (David) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Eric Sewell, James Lonnie Burgin and Jennifer Ann Burgin; his great grandchildren, Erica Sewell and Travis Sewell; and his great great grandchildren, Lily Ward and Violet Ward. He is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
